Under PMMVY CAS according to the provisions of the National Food Security Act of 2013, the Maternity Benefit Programme was be implemented in all regions of the nation beginning on January 1, 2017. The Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana is the name of the initiative (PMMVY). Details on the scheme, including guidelines, forms, and notifications, may be found on the Government of India website.
Under PMMVY, a financial incentive of Rs. 5000/- to be given directly into the accounts of Pregnant Women (PW) and Lactating Mothers (LM) for the family’s first alive child, subject to the fulfillment of specified Maternal and Child Health criteria.

PMMVY Online Registration form 2021-Requirements
- Eligible women who wish to receive maternity benefits must register with the plan at an Anganwadi Centre ( AWC ) or an authorized Health institution, depending on the implementing department for that specific State/UT.
- To register, the beneficiary must submit the required application Form 1 – A, which must be completed in all respects, along with the appropriate papers and undertaking/consent fully signed by her and her spouse, to the AWC/approved Health institution.
The beneficiary will be asked to give her and her husband’s Aadhaar data with their signed consents, her/husband/family member’s Mobile Number, and her Bank/Post Office account details while completing the form.
- The prescribed form (s) are available free of charge from the AWC/approved Health institution. The form(s) can also be obtained from the Ministry of Women and Child Development’s website.
- The beneficiary must fill out the relevant plan papers for registration and installment claim and submit them to the Anganwadi Centre/approved Health institution. The recipient should get written confirmation from the Anganwadi Worker/ASHA/ANM for his or her records and future reference.
- To register and claim the first installment, submit a duly completed Form 1 – A along with a copy of the MCP Card (Mother and Child Protection Card), proof of identity of the beneficiary and her spouse, Aadhaar Card or approved Alternate ID Proof of both, and bank/post office account details.
- To claim the second payment, the recipient must submit a fully completed Form 1 – B after six months of pregnancy, together with a copy of the MCP Card displaying at least one ANC.
- To claim the third installment, the beneficiary must submit a fully completed Form 1 – C together with a copy of the child’s birth registration and a copy of the MCP card demonstrating that the kid has received the first cycle of vaccination or its equivalent/substitute.
- If a beneficiary meets the scheme’s eligibility requirements but is unable to register/submit claims within the time frame specified, he or she may file a claim(s).
A recipient may apply at any time but no later than 730 days of pregnancy, even if she has not previously claimed any of the installments but meets the eligibility criteria and conditions for obtaining benefits.
In instances when the LMP date is not recorded in the MCP card, i.e. a beneficiary is claiming the third installment under the program, the claim must be presented within 460 days after the child’s birth date, beyond which no claim will be accepted.

How can one apply for the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana?
To apply for the Pradhan Mantri Mantru Vandana Yojana, you must first complete the PMMVY registration process, which may be done both offline and online.
Offline PMMVY CAS Application
Offline method to apply for Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana
Step 1: The first step is to sign up for this programme. You can register by going to a nearby Anganwadi Centre (AWC) or authorized Health institution. within 150 days after submitting an application
Step 2: Complete an Anganwadi Centre (AWC)/approved Health Facility application form 1-A or PMMVY form. The application form is free, and you may also obtain it online from the Ministry of Women and Child Development’s website. Send the application form, together with the relevant papers and your and your husband’s signed undertaking/consent, to an Anganwadi Centre (AWC)/approved Health institution.
Step 3: After 180 days of pregnancy, you can claim the second installment by submitting Form 1-B along with a copy of your MCP card that indicates at least one ANC.
Step 4: To claim the third installment, you must submit Form 1-C together with a copy of the birthing registration report and a copy of the MCP card proving that the kid has completed the first round of vaccination.

Step-1: navigate to https://pmmvy-cas.nic.in.
Step 2: Enter your PMMVY login credentials into the PMMVY application.

What is the process for filling out the form for the first installment of PMMVY CAS?
The procedures for completing the 1st Installment in PMMVY CAS are as follows:
- Go to the PMMVY Software at https://pmmvy-cas.nic.in and log in with the Scheme Facilitator’s login credentials.
- Search for the beneficiary if they are already registered, using the identifying information given by the recipient;
- If the beneficiary is not found, click on “New Beneficiary” under the “Beneficiary” tab to register the beneficiary under the PMMVY Scheme;
- Fill out the Beneficiary Registration Form, following the instructions provided in the PMMVY-CAS User Manual;
Please keep in mind that the Beneficiary Registration Form is also used to claim the First Installment of Maternity Benefit.

What is the procedure for filling out the PMMVY-second CAS’s and third installments?
The steps for completing the second and third installments in PMMVY CAS are as follows.
- Log in to the PMMVY Software using the link https://pmmvy-cas.nic.in and the Scheme Facilitator’s login details.
- Look for the beneficiary using the information supplied by the recipient.
- If the beneficiary is already registered, click on the beneficiary ID to access the registration form;
- Click on “Second Installment” or “Third Installment” as required to open the registration form; (follow the instructions provided in PMMVY-CAS User Manual).

To check the beneficiaries’ PMMVY Payment status, go to the PMMVY official website: pmmvy-cas.nic.in.
- Now enter your login information into PMMVY.
- After logging in, you will be directed to a new web page where you can obtain Beneficiary status information.
- Enter the Beneficiary’s Aadhar Number and click the Search button to learn about their status.
- After clicking the search button, you will be shown the full details of that beneficiary’s payment status, including the dates of the installments paid.
- As a result, you can check the status of Beneficiaries in this manner.
- After you have checked your status, you can view the Payments Reports in the Reports section.
- You must first select the years for which you want to collect data.
- Enter the name of the verifier and the field functionary, then click the Submit button.
- Following submission, you will be able to view the details of the Beneficiary’s account, as well as the dates for which they receive their PMMVY financial assistance installments.
PMMVY CAS FAQs
Is it necessary to give the Last Menstrual Period (LMP) Date in order to receive payments under the Scheme?
Yes, The LMP Date, which can be found on the Mother Child Protection (MCP) Card, is required to claim the first and second installments. If the LMP Date is not provided, the recipient will be unable to collect the first and second payments and may only claim the third installment if she meets the Scheme’s conditionality for receiving the third installment.
How may a beneficiary obtain benefits if she registers with the field functionary beyond the first 150 days of LMP?
The recipient is needed to register her pregnancy at an approved health facility within 150 days of the LMP date, which must be noted on the MCP Card. She can then apply for maternity benefits at an Anganwadi Centre or to ASHA/ANM within 730 days of the LMP.
The system disqualifies a recipient with an LMP date of March 4, 2016.
If the LMP date is before April 1, 2016, the recipient is not entitled for maternity benefits under PMMVY and is thus deemed ineligible.
The beneficiary’s LMP date is January 4, 2017, and the MCP card registration date is July 8, 2017. What made the First Installment Application ineligible?
To be eligible for the Scheme’s First Instalment, the beneficiary’s MCP card registration date must be within 150 days of the LMP date.
How many Ante-natal Check-ups (ANC) are necessary before receiving the second installment?
Before getting the second payment, the recipient must have at least one ANC. If at least one ANC is completed, the second installment claim can be made at any time after or alongside the first installment claim. The claim form will be stored in abeyance until 180 days have passed after the LMP date, at which point the record will be automatically added to the SO approval queue. Following that, the regular procedure will be followed.
Can a recipient receive the benefit if she has ANC and gives birth in a private hospital?
Yes, the beneficiary can use the benefit if she has ANC and gives birth at a private hospital, as long as the conditions for all three installments are met. However, an MCP Card is required to claim the first installment.
Is it necessary for the ANC to be 180 days after the LMP Date in order to claim Installment 2 under PMMVY?
ANC can be completed at any time between the LMP Date and the Date of Claim of Installment 2. For Installment 2, the date of the most recently completed ANC must be supplied.
The beneficiary’s first kid is due to be born on January 1, 2019.
Which installments is she eligible for?
If the beneficiary’s due date is January 1, 2019, she is entitled for all installments under the PMMVY Scheme, provided she meets all other eligibility requirements for the individual installments.
Before applying for Installment 1, a beneficiary applied for Installment 2.Is she eligible for the first installment?
The dates of the claims must be in chronological order, i.e. date of claim of first installment date of claim of second installment date of claim of third installment The claims, however, can be input in any sequence into the system. The Scheme’s conditions must be followed.
A beneficiary satisfies all of the Scheme’s eligibility requirements, however she has sought to collect benefits from the Scheme after the birth of her child?
The beneficiary may apply for benefits under the PMMVY Scheme within 730 days of the LMP date or 460 days of the date of Child Birth (if the LMP date is not available), provided that all other eligibility requirements under the Scheme are met.
I’ve forgotten my password; how can I access the system?
The user can reset their password by clicking the Forgot Password link located beneath the login area.
Also, a user one level above in the system can reset the password [for example, a Scheme Facilitator, i.e. Data Entry Operator (DEO), can reset the password]. The password reset link is provided on the User Setup screen. Please see the PMMVY-CAS User Manual for further information.
How can I add a new user to the system and change current user information?
In the system, an existing user can create a new user. Only one or more level down users are permitted to create new users. A State Nodal Officer, for example, can create users at both the District and Block levels, but a District user can only create users at the Block level. Please see the PMMVY-CAS User Manual for further information.
Can we provide the same Email ID to the Scheme Facilitator and Sanctioning Officer of a CDPO/MO Block?
No, the same person cannot perform two roles in the system. One email ID can only be connected with one type of user. As a result, the Scheme Facilitator and Sanctioning Officer must have distinct email addresses.
How should master data be prepared if a Field Functionary (Anganwadi Center, ASHA/ANM) is in charge of more than one village or town?
In the PMMVY CAS System, one Field Functionary must be uniquely mapped to one village/town code.
If a Field Functionary is assigned to more than one village, the State must make an administrative judgment as to which community the Field Functionary will be placed in.
How should master data be prepared if a community has more than one Field Functionary (Anganwadi Center, ASHA/ANM)?
More than one Field Functionary in the PMMVY-CAS system can be linked to a distinct village code in the master data.
How should the master data be prepared if any Field Functionary mapping (for example, Village Name, Verifier Name, etc.) is missing from the available data?
In the case that a mapping is unavailable, a new Field Functionary can be formed in the PMMVY-CAS system by logging in with the appropriate District Nodal Office (DNO) / State Nodal Officer (SNO).

Can a single Field Functionary (Anganwadi Center, ASHA/ANM) in the Master Data be connected with several verifiers (Sectors, ANM)?
No, only one Field Functionary can be mapped to a single Verifier; however, many Field Functionaries can be mapped to a single Verifier.
How should master data for urban areas be prepared? Which code should be utilized, and are ward-specific information required?
The Census 2011 code of the urban area (town or city) must be supplied for urban areas. The ward-by-ward breakdown of the urban area is not needed. The same code must be given for all Field Functionaries in an urban area. If a Census Code is not provided for a newly established entity, the matching LGD code must be used, however such occurrences must also be reported to MWCD.
Is it essential to uniquely connect a new Field Functionary to a Verifier and an LGD Village or Town code? Is it also required to map a verifier to a CDPO/MO Block if one is created?
Yes, a Field Functionary must be individually linked to a Village or Town Code, a Verifier, and a CDPO/MO Block. A Verifier, similarly, can be uniquely mapped to just one CDPO/MO Block. A verifier that is not mapped to any CDPO/MO Block cannot be created.
Is it possible to establish a Field Functionary, Verifier, or CDPO/MO Block if their ID codes have not yet been generated? Is it possible to utilize a self-generated ID code?
No, each entity must have its own ID code. If the ID code for a Field Functionary, Verifier, or CDPO/MO Block is not accessible, the block cannot be generated. Only the ID numbers produced by RCH Portal, ICDS, or the Central Ministry for each entity should be submitted into the system.ID numbers created by the user are not allowed.
Aside from ID Proof, what additional methods are there for locating a beneficiary?
Other methods of searching for the Beneficiary in the system include the Bank Account Number, Official ID Proof number, or Beneficiary ID.
Will the recipient get Installment 2 if the Scheme Facilitator fails to complete the Installment 2 Form and Installment 3 is approved?
If the Installment 3 form is completed before the Installment 2 form, the system will not restrict data entry on the Installment 2 Form. It will be filed only if the Date of Claim at Field Functionary for Installment 2 falls on or before the Date of Claim for Installment 3.
How many levels can the dashboard be seen at?
The PMMVY-CAS Scheme Dashboard may be seen at four different levels: national, state, district, and CDPO/block.
What reports are delivered to users through email, and who are the recipients?

What should be done if the Scheme Facilitator makes a data input mistake?
If a Scheme facilitator makes a data entry error, he or she can withdraw the application (through the button on the beneficiary profile page) and make the necessary adjustments. This can only be done until the Sanctioning Officer approves the record.
What may be done if a data entry error was made by the Scheme facilitator and the record was authorized by the Sanctioning Officer?
There is no way to recall an authorized record once it has been approved by the Sanctioning Officer. If there is an authentication failure from UIDAI or PFMS, the record will reappear in the rectification queue and can then be changed. Such mistakes should be avoided since they cannot be corrected.
Where can I see the records forwarded to the Sanctioning Officer for correction?
If a Sanctioning Officer has submitted an application for correction, it will be available in the Scheme Facilitator User’s correction queue.
What measures should be taken if the Sanctioning Officer discovers a discrepancy in the records and wishes to fix it?
If a Sanctioning Officer discovers that a beneficiary’s application has to be corrected, he or she can click the ‘Correct’ option to send it back to the Scheme Facilitator, indicating the disparity that needs to be corrected.
How can the applications in the correction queue be fixed?
After an approval/authentication/payment process failure, applications may surface for rectification.
- The sanctioning officer forwarded the application for rectification.
- Ineligibility for PMMVY.
- PFMS beneficiary registration failure or payment failure.
- Failure of UIDAI – Beneficiary or Husband Aadhaar.
If any erroneous data was submitted or the beneficiary gave incorrect information, the applications can be corrected.
The Scheme Facilitator can rectify information by going to the correction queue and amending the relevant information.
Records that have been denied by the Sanctioning Officer are not visible in the repair queue. Why?
If a case is rejected by a Sanctioning Officer, it will not appear in the rectification queue. It is regarded rejected for that specific installment of the Scheme. If a Sanctioning Officer wishes to send a record for correction, she must do so in the approval queue by selecting the ‘Correct’ option.
Where can I see records that have failed UIDAI or PFMS verification?
If a record fails verification from UIDAI or PFMS, it will be shown in the Scheme Facilitator User’s rectification queue, with an appropriate reason.
How may PFMS-rejected applications be corrected?
Applications that have been rejected by PFMS are accessible in the rectification queue, which may be accessed using the Scheme Facilitator login. Applications can be amended by accessing the form and making the necessary changes.
Is it possible for SNO to see whose beneficiary’s instalment has returned to the ESCROW Account?
After connecting onto the PFMS website using the State/UT PMMVY Scheme manager’s login, the SNO can view the payment failure list in the EP12 report.
Can we create our own codes for Villages that do not appear in LGD?
No, the Village code and name must be obtained exclusively from the Ministry of Panchayati Raj’s (MoPR) Local Government Directory online (http:// lgdirectory.gov.in/). Self-generated village IDs are not allowed and will cause system problems. It is recommended to raise the matter with the Ministry of Panchayati Raj at the state level and to exclude field functionary data for such villages.
Can the date of the second installment claim be fewer than 180 days after the date of the first installment?
Yes, it is permitted. If at least one ANC is completed, the second installment claim can be made at any time after or in addition to the first installment claim. The claim form will be stored in abeyance until 180 days have passed after the LMP date, at which point the record will be automatically added to the SO approval queue. Following that, the regular procedure will be followed.
Is it possible to look for a beneficiary using the beneficiary ID?
Yes, the user must choose Beneficiary ID as the ID proof from the drop down option, input the Beneficiary ID to be searched, and then click search.
